We already know that HMD Global is working on its budget Nokia 2 smartphone. Just yesterday, we reported of Nokia 2 featuring a whopping 4,000 mAh battery being spotted on Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Now some press renders of Nokia 2 have been leaked, thanks to popular leakster Evan Blass aka @evleaks.
The tipster has shared a rendered image of the phone which shows the Nokia 2 is two colour options - one in black and another one in white. The image shows that the Nokia 2 will come with LED flash on the front as well as on the rear panel. The rear side of the smartphone has a camera, an LED flash and an external speaker.
We can also see an on-screen touch buttons for the phone and it is the only Nokia Android Phone to come with an on-screen touch button. However, there is no home button on the phone which means there is no fingerprint reader as we can't find it at the back also. The Nokia logo is on the font as well as the rear panel of the device. Apart from the image, the tipster has not shared any details regarding specifications of Nokia 2.
As per earlier leaks, Nokia 2 might feature a 5-inch HD display which will be powered by a 1.27 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. It will come with 1GB, 8GB of internal storage and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is said to feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Nokia 2 will be featuring a massive 4,000 mAh battery, which is the largest battery on any Nokia Android device made by HMD until now. The battery should be able to last for two days on a single charge.
Till now, HMD Global has not revealed any launch date of the Nokia 2. However, the latest renders show the October 5 date, it seems like that Nokia 5 may get unveiled on October 5. As far as the pricing is concerned, it is expected to be cheaper than Nokia 3 which currently retails in India for Rs 9,499.
