Coolpad E2 with Android Nougat spotted on GeekBench

Coolpad had launched Coolpad Cool Play 6 in China last month. Now seems like Coolpad is working on its new smartphone as Coolpad E2 has been spotted on a GeekBench benchmarking website. The listing has spilt some beans on the expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone. 

In the GeekBench listing, the Coolpad E2 got 381 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 1059 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Coolpad E2 has 2GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.09 GHz quad-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat  operating system.


As for now, there is not much information about detialed specofications of the handset but we will keep you updated as we get more information on the Coolpad E2.

The Cool Play 6 smartphone has a premium metal unibody with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) in-cell display. It has an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor  (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53), which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. It has 6GB RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage, with the option to expand with a microSD card.


Cool Play 6 has 13-megapixel dual rear cameras which come with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual tone LED flash on the back, while in its front lies an 8-megapixel snapper with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes packed with powerful 4060 mAh non-removable battery which claims to offer up to 252 hours on standby, up to 9 hours of internet browsing, 8hours of video watching and 6hours of extreme gaming. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel located just under the rear cameras.  This dual SIM device offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The handset measures 152 x 75.2 x 8.45mm and weighs 170 g.
